Robert Lee Remington was raised in the foothills of western Maine and educated at Gould Academy, class of ’67, and UMaine, Orono, class of ’72. He spent 36 years as a classroom teacher of secondary mathematics before retiring in 2013. He has coached 5 different sports including more than 30 years each of soccer, baseball, and skiing. In 2005, he was inducted into the Maine Ski Hall of Fame. He still coaches soccer and baseball and he and his wife spend summers in Maine and winters in Florida where he does most of his writing. His first novel, Tyler Reese, was published in June 2014 and his highly anticipated second novel, Cold Creek, was released in February 2015.
